To schedule an appointment to take an ICC exam via computer
Download the applicable ICC examination information bulletin Click here and do the following:
Step 1: Read the ICC examination information bulletin.
Step 2: Determine the desired certification category along with its two digit code.
Step 3: Obtain the required references listed in the ICC examination information bulletin. Examination references can be purchased through ICC's Product Store Online or by calling ICC at 1-800-786-4452 Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. (Central Time).
Step 4: Select a Promissor testing site in your area.
Step 5: Have the following information available when placing a reservation.
Full name, address, social security number, home and work telephone number.
Two-digit code of the examination you wish to take.
Preferred date and location to take the examination.
Credit card or payment information.
Promissor ID number found on a score report (This is required only from candidates that have previously tested)
Step 6: Contact Promissor using the toll free number listed in the examination information bulletin.
Exam reservations are taken by Promissor on a first-come, first served basis. Reservations are taken up to one business day prior to a scheduled exam, if seating is still available. Exam centers may become heavily booked during some periods of the year. Waiting to schedule a testing appointment may significantly limit the dates/times the center has seating availability.
Promissor's customer care reservations and customer service lines are open Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m. (Eastern Time), Saturday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., and Sunday from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
Reservations made on Saturday or Sunday may require an additional business day to process.
Walk-in testing is not available.
